22 May 2019. Prof. Yasuki Yamauchi, Faculty of Engineering, Yamagata University, who is an international advisor of CRC, visited CRC to do a joint research on macular pigment with Dr. Uravis. The research is to investigate density of the macular pigment of the retina of Thai people and to compare with that of Japanese.
In February prior to his visit, Dr Tashiro, a postdoctoral fellow at Yamagata University came to CRC to start constructing the instrument to measure the macular pigment density in Dr Uravis’ laboratory. This time Prof. Yamauchi came to complete the apparatus.
