Dr. Mikiko Kawasumi   Research: The color appearance of a product is one of the important factors for the customers’ visual impressions. We are researching the color preference of a variety of products in order to design more attractive one. Our target products are not only the factory products such as an automobile and a home appliance but also the flower products such as a water lily and a lotus. This laboratory tries to compare color preference among age, gender and nationality of customers and to consider these results from cultural and social points of view.
